How a Double Ferrule Connection Works
A double-ferrule instrumentation fitting assembly uses a fitting body, front ferrule, back ferrule and nut with a compatible instrumentation tube. During assembly, the nut drives the ferrules into the fitting body so the connection can be made to the selected tube and end configuration.
This is an instrumentation tube-fitting system. It should not be treated as interchangeable with DIN 2353 hydraulic cutting-ring fittings; the correct fitting family must be selected for the specific connection design.
